Sustainability certification
With a view to continuous improvement towards sustainable procurement, TVC has obtained the ISCC PLUS certification, essential for monitoring the maintenance of social and environmental standards and verifying the traceability of raw materials throughout the supply chain. Thanks to this scheme, TVC is able to introduce (polymeric) materials of biological, circular and bio-circular attribution in the production of its products and certify their sustainable content through the mass balance approach.
An innovative SME
On 30 December 2020, Tacchificio Villa Cortese was given the title of innovative SME and added to the special section of the Business Registry. ‘Innovative SME’ is a special status that recognizes the innovative spirit and the technological path paved by the company.
Legality Rating
The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) has given Tacchificio Villa Cortese a ✭++ legality rating, including it in the public list of companies with the legality rating assigned by AGCM.
A legality rating is a snapshot indicator of the respect for elevated legality standards by businesses and of the amount of attention paid to proper corporate management.
The Di Padre in Figlio Prize
The company was given the ‘Young Entrepreneur’ award in the 9th edition of the “Di Padre in Figlio” prize. Founded and organized by the Università Cattolica in collaboration with the Family-run Business Research Centre (CERIF), the goal of the prize is to highlight virtuous enterprises that have managed to successfully transfer the business from one generation to the next through training, knowledge, passion and a focus on human capital.
